Inter in audacious bid for Di Maria
According to Calciomercatoweb, Inter will turn their attentions to PSG play-maker Angel Di Maria if they fail in their attempt to bring James Rodriguez to Serie A for a second time. New owners Suning are looking to make a statement of intent in January and if the Colombian decides to stay at Real Madrid for the remainder of the season, the 28-year-old Argentine international will become their top priority.
Di Maria has yet to score this season and is believed to becoming more disillusioned with life in the French capital after his disastrous spell in the Premier League with Manchester United. New boss Stefano Pioli is believed to favour the Argentine over James Rodriguez with the power brokers preferring the Colombian.
Pioli makes his debut on the nerazzurri bench in the Milan derby on Sunday evening as he tries to drag the nerazzurii into a top-four finish and Champions League football next season.
