With the arrival of their new coach Roberto Mancini, Inter Milan seem to be even more active on the transfer market: the nerazzurri are seeking a new left back, and –as outlined by calciomercato.com- could have a concrete chance for Wolfsburg 22-year-old Ricardo Rodriguez: the Switzerland international has one-and-a-half years left on his contract with the German club, that requires a high amount to let him go, but, according to the same media, his agents are in talks for a longer deal that foresees a release clause. Still regarding their team’s flank, the nerazzurri are also seeking a more offensive player, and, according to the Corriere dello Sport, are thinking about Atletico Madrid 27-year-old Alessio Cerci: the Italy international still has a high evaluation, but the Lombard club hopes to obtain him –thanks to the good relations between his agent Sergio Berti and Mancini himself- to obtain him on loan with right to buy. Inter are also seeking a midfielder, and, as reported by the Daily Mail, are interested in Liverpool 34-year-old Steven Gerrard, while, to obtain Lyon 23-year-old Clement Grenier, the nerazzurri –according to RMC Sport- will also have to compete with AS Roma, Napoli and Fiorentina. Also city rivals AC Milan are seeking a midfielder, and, as well known, are interested in Real Madrid 24-year-old Asier Illarramendi, but, according to the Corriere dello Sport, the Spain international is not intentioned to join the rossoneri.
