Inter, de Boer hints at Brozovic exit
“Men like Banega, Candreva and Perisic are fundamental”. These are the words of new Inter boss Frank de Boer in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Dutch tactician does not speak about Marcelo Brozovic and with the imminent arrival of Joao Mario; the Croatian midfielder no longer seems part of the project, at least not as a fundamental player.
BROZOVIC, THE POINT
As we reported a couple of days ago, the nerazzurri has offered the 23-year-old a contract renewal of €1.8 million per season with his current deal expiring in 2019. Brozovic has rejected these new terms as he currently earns €1.2 million per season. On the other side of fence are Juventus; the bianconeri have already agreed to a contract worth €3 million per season plus bonus which the Croatian international is very interested in. Inter on the other hand, does not want to sell him to Juventus, stating that if the player must leave the club, then it will have to be for another destination in Europe. Despite all this, a sale does now look imminent because Brozovic wants to more playing time but in de Boer’s new-look team, there is no room for Marcelo Brozovic.
