Inter: chance for Schar. Napoli: keen on Pocognoli
As reported in the last days, next Sunday’s game against Napoli won’t be decisive for the future for Inter Milan’s coach Walter Mazzarri, but, in any case, interviewed by Sportmediaset, the nerazzurri’s 28-year-old center back Marco Andreolli has assured that the whole team is following its boss. Meanwhile, the Lombard club’s executives keep on working to reinforce the team, especially for what concerns its flank, as Mazzarri himself require a hard work from his wingbacks and 28-year-old Jonathan Cicero Moreira –as reported yesterday- seems intended to leave: according to calciomercato.com, on Inter’s wishlist there are the names of Atalanta 22-year-old Davide Zappacosta (co-owned by the orobici and Avellino), Udinese 21-year-old Silvan Widmer, Torino 25-year-old Matteo Darmian and Sporting CP 23-year-old Cédric Ricardo Alves Soares, aka Cédric Soares. The nerazzurri are also seeking a center back, and, as perhaps confirmed by their Sports Director Piero Ausilio, are attentively observing the situation of 21-year-old Fabian Schar, whose contract with FC Basel will expire at the end of the current season: according to alfredopedulla.com, the Switzerland international has refused to renew the deal with his current club. Also Napoli are working to reinforce their team’s flank, and, as anticipated by gianlucadimarzio.com, are thinking about West Bromwich 27-year-old Sébastien Pocognoli: the Belgium international, who has joined the Baggies last Summer, has three more years on his contract.
