Inter: Guarin could stay. Juve: still keen on Ranocchia

As anticipated yesterday, Inter Milan are extremely active on the transfer market, and one of their targets is Arsenal 28 year old center back Thomas Vermaelen: the agent of the Belgium international has perhaps confirmed to Le10Sport that his client has asked his current club to be yielded; but the nerazzurri are trying to reinforce their team also regarding other positions, and keep on tracking another Premier League’s player, Tottenham 23 year old forward Erik Lamela: as highlighted by the Corriere dello Sport, the Lombard club’s interest for the Argentina international has never ended, and an important investment made by Inter’s president Erick Thohir during the Summer transfer window is not excluded; perhaps, the former AS Roma player, who is actually recovering from an injury, doesn’t seem to feel too comfortable with the English football. In any case, the nerazzurri will probably have to sell some of their players, and, as well known, Juventus are still interested in 27 year old midfielder Fredy Guarin, but, as exclusively reported by calciomercato.com, the situation of the Colombia international has changed: after the departure of the Lombard club’s Technical Director Marco Branca, the relations between the two parties have improved, and in the next weeks Marcelo Ferreyra, agent of the former FC Porto player, will meet Inter’s executives to talk about his client’s new contract.
Who, on the contrary, despite the declarations released yesterday by the nerazzurri’s Sports Director Piero Ausilio, could leave “San Siro” to join the Serie A defending champions is 25 year old defender Andrea Ranocchia: as highlighted by calciomercato.com, perhaps, the signing of the Italy international seems to be a priority for the bianconeri.
