Inter Milan remain extremely active on the transfer market, especially regarding their team’s offensive line: as reported yesterday, the nerazzurri are in competition with Juventus in the hunt for Manchester City 28 year old Edin Dzeko, but, according to Tuttosport, both clubs are keen also on Real Madrid 21 year old Alvaro Morata; but, as reported by the same media, Inter president Erick Thohir has talked with the Spanish club also about 26 year old Karim Benzema: the France international, who has an extremely high salary, is also required by some English clubs; another option for the nerazzurri –as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport- is Santos 24 year old Leandro Damiao. As outlined by the same media, the Lombard club is also seeking a midfielder, and it seems that Chelsea 27 year old John Obi Mikel has overtaken Cruzeiro 26 year old Nilton on Inter’s wishlist, while, as outlined by calciomercato.com, the nerazzurri are ready to swoop again on Manchester City 27 year old Javi Garcia. Another priority for the Lombard club is reinforcing its team’s flank, and, still according to “La Gazzetta”, Inter keep on tracking Paris Saint-Germain 20 year old Lucas Digne. Also city rivals AC Milan are seeking a left back, but one of their main targets for such position –Torino 24 year old Matteo Darmian- has told Tuttosport that he is not thinking about leaving the granata.
