Insigne recovers from knee injury
Lorenzo Insigne has made a full recovery from his right knee injury. He picked it up last week whilst training with the Azzurri, forcing him to pull out of Italy’s qualifiers with Norway and Azerbaijan.
The 24–year-old returned to training this afternoon, joining the team for their preparation for this weekend’s game top-of-the-table clash with Fiorentina.
“As expected, Insigne has returned to train with the rest of the squad,” Napoli's official website confirmed.
Neapolitan fans feared the worst when Insigne went down in training last week. He missed most of last season with a cruciate ligament injury, severely penalizing Napoli's Italian and European ambitions.
There was further good news for the Partenopei as three of ther internationals, namely Vlad Chiriches, Emil Hysaj and Faouzi Ghoulam also joined Insigne in training.
