‘I love winning like that’, Roberto Mancini doesn’t mind narrow wins
The Nerazzurri snatched nine 1-0 wins so far, but Mancini is not losing any sleep over his side’s lack of goals.
“Sometimes you have to be pragmatic. It is better to win with unattractive performances rather than the other way around. If everything was perfect we’d always win playing well, but that’s not always possible.
“I love narrow wins, if we’ll carry on winning 1-0, lot of people will keep talking.”
“I always try to do the best choices, but winning is all that matters. I always play who deserves it.”
“In Italy it is usually the best defense that usually win leagues, but we need to score more.”
Inter have been linked with a number of central midfielders in January window, but Roberto Mancini’s side might need to sell some of their players before bringing in new faces.
“No one has asked to leave, including Ranocchia and Dodo, in turn, nothing will change for now.”
“I don’t think that Sampdoria will sell Eder in January, Inter and Samp are in talks for Dodo’s transfer as he needs more playing time, but he hasn’t asked to leave us.”
“Kondogbia will be very important for us in the future. He is adapting to life and against Empoli he played very well, even if he struggled a bit at the end of the game.”
“Handanovic, Miranda, Murillo, Medel and Perisic will definitely start tomorrow.”
