Steaua’s president fed up with Stanciu: ‘I’d pay AC Milan to buy him!’

It seems that Nicusor Stanciu’s latest  performances have not left FC Steaua București’s  president Gigi Becali impressed.

The Romanian side’s owner has offered AC Milan money to buy the 22-year-old offensive midfielder.
Talking after Steaua’s 1-1 draw against Dinamo Bucarest, Mr. Becali harshly criticized his player.
“Stanciu doesn’t know what he’s doing”, he told Sport.ro.

“AC Milan are after him. Well, I offer them money to buy Stanciu as soon as possible.”

Before last week-end’s disappointing stalemate against their hatred city rivals, however, Mr. Becali was not as critical with his young ace.

“Four millions for Stanciu are not enough”, he had told DigiSport.

“I could sell him for € 10 million next summer, or maybe € 25-30 million, if we’ll manage to qualify to Champions League.”

The San Siro outfit are not the only side interested in welcoming Stanciu’s services as many other European clubs are keeping tabs on the Romania International who has netted 14 goals in all competitions this term.

Steaua Bucaresti rejected FC Krasnodar’s € 3 million bid for Stanciu this past January and even if the player’s price tag is believed to be in the region of € 10 million, Steaua seem now more willing to get AC Milan a discount.
