How a former teacher has become a Serie A coach

The duo becomes indivisible from that moment. In 2015 they move to Crotone where they win the Serie B title and gain an unexpected promotion to Serie A, the first one in the history of the club.
This past summer, they moved to Genoa, a club that Juric knows very well having played for the grifone for several campaigns during his playing career.
Pellegrini is set to replace Juric in the bench of Genoa for the next game as the team’s gaffer has just received a one-game ban. Pellegrini will be in charge of a Serie A squad for the first time in his career and in one of the most thrilling games of the season as Genoa will face city rivals Sampdoria in the ‘derby della Lanterna’ next week-end.
