Napoli captain Marek Hamsik has been speaking to Sport24. The Slovakian international explained that; “My priority has always been Napoli and I’m really happy that we have found a swift agreement on a new contract. There were a few problems to begin with but now everything is sorted and I’m happy to be staying until 2020”.
 

He continued; “During the transfer window there were a lot of voices about my future but I’m accustomed to this. Now I think only to Napoli; they are one of the top 15 biggest clubs in the world and we have grown together and perhaps the most beautiful joy has yet to come; a Scudetto or a European trophy”.   

Finally, when asked about Higuian he replied; “I can understand the delusion of the fans, they are passionate and it’s correct that they express their emotions. It will be an interesting challenge when we play Juventus”.
