Guardiola's Manchester City revolution
Ciao Pep, within 24 hours, Guardiola saw his current club Bayern Munich and his new employer Manchester City both exit the Champions League at the semi-final stage. At the Bernabeu, he would have seen three midfield players not suited to his tactics, Fernando, Fernandinho and Yaya Toure; the latter already due to make a summer exit.
THE CENTRE OF THE TRANSFER MARKET
Manchester City is about to undergo a revolution in its central area and the first name on the list is Paul Pogba although it will not be easy to prize him away from Juventus who will hold firm on a €100 million price-tag. Also in the notebook are Gundogan (Borussia Dortmund), Kroos (Real Madrid) and Sergio Busquets (Barcelona) and there are other names considered luxury items too including Belgian Axl Witsel (Zenit). In other words, we look set to have some fun this summer as the Citizens play the transfer window game.
