The saga between Amauri and Juventus may finally come to an end as the Brazilian striker could be joining Genoa in January.

“At the moment, I can just say that we are interested in him,” revealed Rossoblu President Enrico Preziosi.

“But the deal is not done yet and we haven’t approached the player either. Our wish is to bring him to Genoa because we believe he is a talented player who could strengthen our team.

“We have a good relationship with Juventus so it shouldn’t be a problem. The interest in Amauri is not linked to Coach Pasquale Marino. They were together at Parma but we were following the player even before hiring Marino,” concluded Preziosi.

There are several offers on the table for the former Palermo player who has also been linked to Parma, Marseille and Tottenham.
