    Gattuso returns to Pisa: "I'm not a hero"

    Gennaro Gattuso has returned to the helm at Pisa. The former Milan star and 2006 World Cup winner resigned shortly after he had taken the club back into Serie B citing problems behind the scenes. Now he’s back and he told Sky earlier that; “I’m not a hero, the heroes are the players who made great sacrifices last season. We know it will be difficult but we will give it all we have”.

    His return saw 5000 fans turn up the clubs stadium to welcome him back and he continued by explaining that; “I’m sorry I went away for a month, the enthusiasm around the place is important. We start now after a delay of 30 days or so and our season starts this weekend against Novara”.
