Funes Mori for Santiago Silva?
Santiago Silva could leave Fiorentina after only six months on a part-exchange deal involving River Plate’s starlet Funes Mori.
According to Atalanta general director, Pierpaolo Marino, who is an expert of South American football, this deal could go ahead.
“I know Silva since the days of Ezequiel Lavezzi when they were playing together at San Lorenzo,” claimed the man who brought German Denis and Maxi Moralez to Bergamo.
“After that, I followed him at Velez because he was playing with Moralez. Fiorentina need to have patience with him mostly because a South American player needs time to settle in our League.
“In Argentina, El Tanque has a great reputation because he has won several titles. It would make sense to swap him with Funes Mori, who is much younger though,” concluded Marino.
