From Spain: Juventus target Mascherano wants to leave Barcelona

Javier Mascherano wants to leave Barcelona, today’s edition of Sport reports. According to the Catalan paper, the Argentina International could follow his former teammate Dani Alves at Juventus as he’s not happy that Barcelona have not maintained their promises about the his contract renewal.

Juventus have already reached agreement with the player’s entourage, having offered the player a salary of € 6 million a year. Mascherano, 32, will meet Barcelona at the end of the Copa America Centenario in order to find a solution for his future.

It will be tough, but Juventus still hope to sign the experienced versatile midfielder.
