    Former Juventus coach Lippi linked with Lyon bench

    According to a number of French media outlets, Marcello Lippi could be heading to Ligue 1 soon. The former World Cup winner with Italy has made no secret of his desire to return to coaching, claiming he is frankly bored at being the honorary president of his son’s youth academy.

    Now he is being linked with Olympique Lyonnais, whose embarrassing performance in the Champions League hasn’t impressed owner Jean-Michel Aulas.

    Also linked to Milan, Lazio and Roma’s troublesome situations (sometimes in conjunction with Christian Brocchi), the four-times Champions League finalist would be a big hit in France.
