Former AC Milan, West Ham Armero changes name on jersey to A.Mi.Nia: here’s why

Pablo Armero is going to change the name on the back of his jersey for the 2016-17 campaign. The Colombian fullback has decided to write an acronym on his Udinese shirt for next season.

He has chosen to write A.Mi.Nia on his shoulders and despite the choice seems to be a very random one, Armero has also given an explanation for his pick.

“A stands for Armero, Mi, stands for mine and Nia means baby. The whole acronym simply mean ‘friend”
One mere extravagance for a player who showed little of his potential over the last couple of seasons, making headlines with his off-the-field behaviour rather than for his skills on the pitch.
