Fiorentina, Sousa: ‘I used to be a dreamer, they’ve made me become a realist’
The Portuguese boss is said not to be on good terms with Fiorentina chiefs and did nothing to hide his feelings during the meeting with the press on the eve of the match.
“I am playing those players who are giving me the best guarantees in terms of results. I just made two changes in the last game and that’s the path we want to take.”
“We have no physical problems, but we have to improve in terms of mentality, we are doing it, but patience is absolutely needed at the moment.”
“When I arrived at the club last year, I was a dreamer, I was a bit more optimist. They’ve made me become a realist. Reality is now stronger than my dreams.”
“We are working on consistency and intensity.”
