Fiorentina set their price for Chelsea target Badelj
The January transfer window is fast approaching and Fiorentina are already planning their moves. The one problem La Viola face however, is that they have to sell to collect some funds to go active in the new year. One of the ways they can collect some capital is to offload midfielder Milan Badelj.
PRICE FIXED:
The Croatian has a price-tag of €12 million and the Tuscan club are not willing to accept anything less. There could be a three-way tussle for the 27-year-old with Roma, Milan and Chelsea all expressing an interest.
IDEA OF CORVINO:
With the money collected from any potential sale, CEO Pantaleo Corvino wants to give coach Paolo Sousa some January reinforcements; Jovetic and Zampano are just two names that have been linked with the club. The 27-year-old Jovetic now looks surplus to requirements at the nerazzurri and a return to his former club is a viable option. For 23-year-old defender Francesco Zampano, Pescara asks for €4 million but Corvino will have to keep an eye out for competition from Napoli and Roma.
