Fiorentina: Pizarro could renew. AS Roma: eyes on Brkic
As reported earlier, Fiorentina, as well as AC Milan, are interested in Sunderland 28 year old Emanuele Giaccherini; but the viola are also seeking a more defensive midfielder as Atalanta 21 year old Daniele Baselli: according to La Nazione, the Tuscan club would like to sign the Italy Under 21 international on permanent basis, and to low the nerazzurri’s request –about 8 million euros- could offer them some of their players. The viola are also seeking a forward, and one of their main targets remains Udinese 22 year old Luis Muriel: the two parties are also in talks regarding 25 year old winger Juan Cuadrado, actually in co-ownership between the two clubs: interviewed by Radio Blu, the bianconeri’s chairman Franco Soldati has declared to be sure that an agreement will be found. But, still according to La Nazione, the Tuscan club’s priorities is extending the contracts of some of their cornerstones, and, in addition to 29 year old defender Gonzalo Rodriguez and same-aged midfielder Borja Valero, they could start a negotiation with 34 year old playmaker David Pizarro. The viola are also seeking a goalkeeper, and one of their main targets for such position is Udinese 27 year old Zeljko Brkic: but the Serbia international is also tracked by AS Roma, who are seeking the heir of their 36 year old Morgan De Sanctis.
