EXCLUSIVE Romano: Roma president to secure Sabatini
The club’s president James Pallotta himself has told Sabatini and the other executives that he has no intention to accept the resignation; on the contrary, the Italian American tycoon is confident in Sabatini’s qualities to manage the next transfer marker campaign: as well known, the giallorossi will have to be very attentive to their financial balance, so they will need an experienced executive to take care of the eventual signings. It’s not a coincidence that Pallotta and Sabatini are already working together on some operations, like the signing to permanent deal of Stephan El Shaarawy.
Moreover, Sabatini himself has for the moment refused Bologna’s offer, while the rumors regarding Chelsea interest have never been confirmed; on the other hand, he would hesitate before joining Milan, considering Adriano Galliani’s role at the rossoneri.
