EXCLUSIVE ROMANO: Pjanic, Juve have the "yes", here's the strategy

The summer of transfer activity of Juventus will be full of surprises. Dani Alves will be confirmed shortly and then it will be the turn of Domenico Berardi, another shot in the barrel for Marotta and Paratici.  But the great variety of names linked with the midfield is the most fascinating, because Juve will look for some important reinforcements. Their pursuit of Mascherano will need patience and the temptation to bring forward discussions with Kovacic when they speak with Real Madrid about Morata is all too great. And then there is André Gomes; who Manchester United are also following, but its Miralem Pjanic that remains the most fascinating case of all.

    IT’S MIRALEM
The backbone of the deal when there is a buyout clause in the middle is the player. And in this case, Juventus have the yes of Pjanic, despite the Bosnian international not being in too big a hurry to escape from Roma. But the proposal of the bianconeri is tempting and this is why Juve are confident.  For their part, Roma will not make any discount on the 38 million clause.

BETWEEN A RENEWAL AND THE BUDGET
The idea of the giallorossi is to try to resist as far as possible but they have financial fair-play deadlines to meet at the end of June; Juventus knows this and hopes that the capital club will be forced to part with their prized midfielder, even if they have to lower the price. The other problem is the renewal; because even if Pjanic should remain, his contract will definitely have to be reviewed. The 26-year-old has two years left on his current deal with a salary of €3.2 million. It’s believed that under the new terms, he would ask for at least 4.5 with bonus, a big rise which Roma would have to think about. This is why the case for Pjanic remains open and Juve continues to hope.
