EXCLUSIVE Romano: Milan to meet Bacca to reconcile differences
Though he's been very proficient (17 Serie A strikes), the Colombian striker has had a bad time of it of late, only netting three times in six weeks.
Worse, he attracted the wrath of coach Mihajlovic for excessive showboating, before staring down interim manager Brocchi for taking him off in the Rossoneri's recent 0-0 draw with Carpi. He's also cut a frustrated figure on the pitch, often left too isolated up front. The former two-time Europa League winner was also expecting to play in Europe next season, having opted out of a Champions League berth with Sevilla to join Adriano Galliani's side.
Once the season ends, then, Milan are set to meet with the former Sevilla star in order to assess what has been a successful season, and to emphasize that the Rossoneri want to keep him and build around him.
Bacca is very likely to remain at the San Siro next season, and his departure will only be considered if a big offer is made, superior in other words to 30 million, and to be paid quicksharp.
