Juventus are considering signing promising Genoa striker Pietro Pellegri, calciomercato.com has exclusively learned. Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has recently said that the 15-year-old striker is ‘Genoa’s Leonel Messi’ and Juventus have asked information about him during a recent meeting held with the grifone owner.

Pellegri is one of Italy’s most promising strikers alongside Moise Kean who is already under contract with Juventus and has already made his senior debut in Serie A and Champions League becoming the first millennial to play in both competitions.

Juventus dream to have their future attacking department composed by these two promising front-men and want to snatch a first-option clause to have control on the player’s future. A similar clause would allow the Old Lady to be informed about offers of other club and match them in interested.

Both Manchester clubs are also interested in signing Pellegri as well. United and City have been scouting the young, prolific striker several times this season. Manchester City are also monitoring the situation of Moise Kean, but Juventus hope to persuade his agent Mino Raiola to make him sign a contract extension with Juventus, hoping that Pellegri will join him soon.
