EXCLUSIVE: Juventus make new contact with Milik

Juventus are still interested in signing Arkadiusz Milik and according to CM.com’s pundit Nicola Balice the representatives of the Old Lady met the Poland International’s agent a few days ago to understand if the player is really close to joining Napoli.

Milik was spotted in Naples’ Capodichino airport earlier this week, but the official reason for his trip to the South of Italy is to have holidays in Capri with his girlfriend.

The 22-year-old’s representative informed Juventus that the player has yet to agree a move to Napoli or to any other team. He is in no rush over his future and confirmed that Ajax want to keep him for the imminent Champions League play-off stage before starting negotiations with other clubs.

Milik will only join Juve if Zaza leaves. Allegri believes the Polish striker can’t be the natural replacement of Alvaro Morata and the Italian tactician is waiting to know Simone Zaza’s final decision after that Wolfsburg have made an official offer to sign the 25-year-old forward.

Ajax slapped € 14 million price-tag on Milik last April, but after his brilliant performances at EURO 2016, the Lancers could ask up to € 20 million this summer.

Milik is not the only player that the bianconeri are trying to steal from under their Serie A rivals’ noses. Juventus are currently battling it out with Inter for the signing of Gabriel Jesus and are rivalling AC Milan for Marko Pjaca.
