EXCLUSIVE: Juventus to meet Ajax for Milik and Bazoer

Juventus have officially lost Alvaro Morata. The Spanish striker will return to Real Madrid with the Merengues who have activated the striker’s € 30 million release fee. In the meantime, the club’s CEO Giuseppe Marotta has revealed the Old Lady’s transfer strategies for this summer.

“We’ve moved in advance, completing the signings of Pjanic and Dani Alves and strengthening a team which is already very good. Finding other players who can raise our level will be nothing easy, but we are ready to make the most of every chance. We’ll be looking for important profiles who can suit our level”, he told reporters yesterday.

The farewell of Morata could be followed by the departure of Simone Zaza and Juventus have shortlisted a host of strikers who could fill the boots of the two departing hit-men.

Cavani, Lukaku, Batshuayi, Embolo and Gabriel Jesus are all on Giuseppe Marotta’s wish-list, but the Old Lady’s CEO is also ready to make an offer for Ajax and Poland star Arkadiusz Milik.

Scorer of 24 goals in 42 games with the Lancers this season, Milik is a long time target of the bianconeri who wanted to sign him back in 2012. Gornik Zabre managed to steal the striker from under Juventus’ noses that time thanks to an offer of € 2 million.

Juventus are also interested in the signing of Milik’s teammate Riechedly Bazoer a 19-year-old centre midfielder who can potentially become the new Pogba.

Sources told calciomercato.com that the Serie A giants asked information about both players at the beginning of April through an intermediary and talks with the Lancers are still ongoing. Ajax are open to selling Milik, but they’d prefer to keep Bazoer.

Milik’s agent David Pantak has done nothing to hide his client’s interest for a move to Juventus, though he has done the same with Inter and AS Roma. Juventus’ fear that the player’s price-tag will raise if he scores more goals at EURO 2016, that’s why they want to make an offer in the region of € 12-14 million in the next few days.

The offer for Bazoer would be in the region of € 20 million, even if the player would not mind staying one more season at the Amsteram ArenA to play on a regular basis with Ajax.
