EXCLUSIVE: Inter have economic agreement with Samp duo, but can sign only one
The deal should be completed tomorrow as the Colombian midfielder is set to join his new teammates in Marbella, Spain, to undergo medical and put pen to paper on his new contract with the Chinese side.
Inter will cash in approximately € 12 million that will be reinvested on just one player between Soriano and Eder.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter have already found economic agreement with both players.
The Brazilian-born striker with Italian passport would get € 2.4 a year for the next three seasons, but Inter have only offered € 10 million, while Samp have asked € 15.
In the meanwhile, Leicester City FC, have also made their bid for Eder, 29, proposing an offer in the region of € 13 million. The English Premier League’s leaders bid was also rejected.
Soriano, 24, would cost Inter € 15 million too.
Romano has also revealed that that Inter were interested in signing Lazio playmaker Lucas Biglia, but the Argentinean’s physical hassles as well as Claudio Lotito’s economic requests have discouraged the Nerazzurri from making a € 17 million offer which would have been rejected by the demanding Lazio president.
Under this point of view, by the way, Andrea Ranocchia would have helped negotiations, if he would have accepted to move to Norwich who had offered € 9 million to welcome his services.
Romano provides one more news concerning Inter’s plans for the future saying that the Biscione have joined Milan and Juve in the race to sign Ever Banega as a free agent at the end of the current season.
