Exclusive Balice: Udinese want Juve outcast Zaza to replace Di Natale
Officially, no-one is on the transfer block at Vinovo yet. Juventus want to keep all their boys.
Unofficially, however, it seems like the first signing will likely trigger a chain reaction.
If another striker joins, Simone Zaza is very much expected to pack his bags. With Ezequiel Lavezzi knocking on the door, a number of clubs (inlcuding West Ham United) have let it be known that they are interested, especially Udinese.
Though he's very popular in the Premier League, Udinese have been Johnny-on-the-spot, already offering a loan with right to buy at the end of the season, also giving Juventus favourable terms should they want to acquire him at a later date.
Vittorio Pozzo's club desperately needs someone, with Antonio di Natale likely to retire (despite his denials) and Duvan Zapata still out for a while through injury.
What could also help Udinese is Juventus' interest in a number of Zebrettes, including Silvan Widmer (a transfer target we've been reporting on for a while) and Romain Heurtaux, whose agent bizarrelly revealed to us that he hasn't been that good this year, and should focus on playing better instead of waiting for a club like Roma to sign him.
Also in Juventus sights: Bruno Fernandes and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu.
Zaza, for his part, wants to fight this one out, tooth and nail. He's never complained, not when the club tried to off him in the summer, not when Allegri has used him sparingly this season, even though he's got the best goals-per-minutes-played ratio.
