Everton offer €20 million for Napoli striker
Napoli are ready to revolutionise their attack. President De Laurentiis has already scheduled a medical for Genoa striker Leonardo Pavoletti for the 28 of December and with the return of Arek Milik and the explosive form of Dries Mertens, it will be Manolo Gabbiadini that will be sacrificed in January.
Corriere dello Sport has been talking to the 25-year-old’s agent Silvio Pagliari, who has confirmed that; “We are looking around both Serie A and abroad”. It’s from one of these championships overseas that a lifeline could be offered for the Italian international.
Premier League side Everton are in hot pursuit and coach Ronald Koeman knows how to work with strikers; Graziano Pelle shone under his tutelage at Southampton and Gabbiadini, a target since last summer, could be the next player to benefit from his experience. The Toffees have reportedly already submitted a €20 million; lower than the one they tabled in summer. Napoli will now consider whether to accept this latest advance and use the cash to tie up the Pavoletti deal.
