Dzeko has scored the same number of goals as Ciofani
By the way, the Bosnia and Herzegovina International’s outcome has been disappointing thus far, to say the least. As Il Corriere dello Sport points out, the former Manchester City star has scored the same number of goals as Frosinone’s front-man Daniel Ciofani.
The duo racked up 916 minutes on the pitch this term (although Roberto Stellone’s hit-man played one game more than the 29-year-old striker), hence their minutes per goal ratio is exactly the same: they both net once every 305 minutes.
In addition, Dzeko has scored two goals from the spot, while his winning header against Roma’s hated rivals Juventus still represents his only goal from open play this term. On the other hand, Ciofani has scored one penalty and plundered two goals from open play thus far.
Former Wolfsburg star added two more goals in four Champions League games, scoring against Bayer Leverkusen and Barcelona (when the Catalans were already 6-0 up).
