Diego Lopez: Balotelli's dream is to play for Real Madrid'
Recently linked with speculation (read our EXCLUSIVE report here) that he wants out of Milan, and to move to somewhere where he can play a key role, it's been a heck of a morning for Diego Lopez, who has also seen his interview with Marca be published in today's edition.
The Spaniard was dismissive of the talk that linked him to a move away from Milan, despite cm.com's Federico Albrizio proving that he's alraedy had a number of heated altercations with Rossoneri coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
"I'm very calm, I've a lot of confidence in myself and I'll do everything possible to win back my place," Lopez told Marca.
"I'm not thinking of a summer move, just of recovering from my injury [tendinopathy]".
Lopez, who two seasons ago was good enough to keep Iker Casillas on the bench at Real Madrid and play well in the Porto goalkeeper's absence, also had a bombshell about team-mate Mario Balotelli.
"Mario Balotelli's dream is to play for Real Madrid.
"He's not as bad as it seems, either".
Finally, the Spaniard had some nice things to say about Jose Mourinho, the manager who gave him his chance at the Bernabeu.
"Mourinho is the best coach in the world, he's got a lot of charisma, and is able to pass it on to his players. One needs to witness it to understand what it feels like".
