Di Natale: "Totti is extraordinary, I have his shirt and I'm proud"
Antonio Di Natale has been speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport about the symbolic value of wearing the number 10 jersey and in particular, about one of its chief exponents, Francesco Totti.
He was asked however, whether the value of the shirt had now diminished somewhat with players such as Totti, Honda and Jovetic all sat on the bench and Juventus having once again retired the shirt after Paul Pogba left for Manchester United. He replied; “It’s a shirt that brings with it responsibility which can be very daunting. It belongs to player who can do extraordinary things, something different.”
When asked about Francesco Totti declaring that; “He’s a friend, a great person and an extraordinary player. I have one of his shirts and I’m proud to have it. I don’t think that anyone else will wear this jersey at Roma”.
