Mattia Destro took out all his anger at former club Roma after Bologna’s 2-2 draw with the Giallorossi.
The Italian striker spent seasons with the Roman club, and despite a good scoring ration he failed to establish himself, eventually being frozen out of manager Rudi Garcia’s plans and shipped off on loan to AC Milan.

Now with the Felsinei, Destro allowed them to snatch a priceless 2-2 draw against his former club, netting a penalty three minutes from time to send the Dall’Ara into raptures.

Though it didn’t go down well with the Giallorossi faithful, Mattia Destro’s furious celebration was motivated by a feeling that the club had betrayed him.

And things got even more animated when the teams returned took to the tunnel, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, with Destro confronting some of his former team-mates and asking them: “Who among you asked the club to sell me? Did you see that?”

Despite yesterday’s goal, Roma’s decision to get rid of him has hardly been a failure, with the former Azzurro hopeful only scoring a meagre five Serie A goals for Milan and Bologna.
