    Napoli president: 'No excuses, I invested €128m for the team!'

    Through his club’s official website, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis stated: “I watched the last match from China; it was a nice game, with some questionable calls, but they can’t be an excuse. These are the rules of football, if we decide to compete, we have to accept them.”

    “Even if we are the fifth club for what concerns the revenue, I invested €128 million”, he added. “We did our best to have a competitive team, and I think that we really are competitive.”
