CM EXCLUSIVE: two-year contract ready for Ventura and Lippi
The Italian Federation’s president Carlo Tavecchio is henceforth intentioned to place the 2006 World champion side by side with Ventura. The former Juventus boss doesn’t want to coach anymore, but he likes the ambience of the national team, and he is ready to accept the position of technical director.
More meetings are expected in the next days: an agreement has to be found on the salary and the length of the contract, even if it seems that a two-year-deal with an option for the following two years is ready for the two.
Ventura, who is 68 years old, brought Torino from the Serie B to the Europa League round of 16.
