Chievo-Inter: OPTA Facts & Predicted Lineups

Franck De Boer’s Inter travel to Verona for the first game of the season without suspended Jaison Murillo and injured Ansaldi and Andreolli. Andrea Ranocchia should start the Chievo clash in place of his Colombian teammate close to Joao Miranda in centre defence with Yuto Nagatomo and D’Ambrosio playing on the sides.

Eder is more likely to start than Candreva on the right flank, whilst Icardi and Perisic should complete the attacking trident.

Floro Flores and Mpoku are the only players missing for Chievo. Their starting line-up is pretty much the same than the one of last season apart from the goalkeeper with Sorrentino who returned to the club from Palermo earlier this summer as Albano Bizzarri signed with new Serie A boys Pescara.
