    Chelsea prepare to make super January offer for Burnley defender

    Antonio Conte is ready to make wholesale changes to his defence at Chelsea and according to the Mirror, the name at the top of his wish list is 23-year-old Burnley star Michael Keane. The journal states that the West London club are preparing a £25 million pound for the player who came through the youth ranks at Manchester United.

    Keane, an England Under-21 international, has also had loan spells at Leicester City, Derby County and Blackburn Rovers before making a permanent move to Turf Moor in 2015. After last weekends dismal 3-0 defeat away to Arsenal, the Italian tactician has made no secret of the fact that he will make restructuring his back-line a priority (despite the expensive summer return of David Luiz) starting in January with the highly rated Burnley youngster, who is currently under contract at the club until 2018.
