Chelsea after Roma's Manolas
Chelsea are still om the lookout for a defender, and look set to make a splash in the January transfer market after failing to overcome Everton's resistence over John Stones.
According to the Daily Express, that defender is Roma's Kostas Manolas. Were the Greek international to move to England, the Giallorossi would likely opt for Inter's Andrea Ranocchia: now a permanent fixture on the bench and out of Coach Roberto Mancini's plans, the former Bari defender would likely find more space at the Stadio Olimpico.
This isn't the first time that Chelsea have been linked to Manolas: as Fabrizio Romano exclusively revealed for this website, the 24-year-old was apparently the object of a Blues offer of over €30 million during the summer.
