Mario Balotelli’s future remains uncertain; despite another season to forget last year, Super Mario continues to be at the centre of the transfer market. The player even met with Jose Mourinho a few days ago to ask for his advice.
 

Chievo Verona is one of the clubs that has approached Balotelli in recent weeks, discussions were held but Balotelli is listening to other proposals. Sassuolo has been mentioned but this path looks unlikely whilst Bologna, who can count on the financial input of the kit manufacturer Macron, is also showing positive interest. This morning, there has even been talk of a possible move to Lazio, but only in the event that Keita departs for Atletico Madrid.  

In the past few hours the Daily Express has stated that Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers, under the stewardship of Walter Zenga, have asked if he would like to start training with them alongside a coach who he can relate too. It would be an ironic choice for the Italian, as Wolves were the very club he made his Premier League debut against in 2011.
