Champions League, Vidal: ‘I’d give my life to reach the quarter-finals’

No doubt that the spotlight will be on Arturo Vidal during this evening’s Champions League clash between Juventus and Bayern Munich.

The Chilean midfielder will face his former teammates for the first time since he completed his € 40 million switch to the Allianz Arena last summer.

Talking to Munchner Merkur, Vidal, 28, revealed he will give his best to make it through the next stage of the competition.

“I had an amazing time in Italy”, Vidal told the German reporters.

“But now I’d give my life to reach the quarter finals.”

The former Bayer Leverkusen ace won four Serie A titles, one Coppa Italia and two Italian Supercups during his three-year spell at the J Stadium.

He has scored three goals and registered seven assists in 32 seasonal games with Bayern Munich this term.
