How should Juve fans ‘welcome’ back Vidal and Coman?
That’s what Arturo Vidal told La Stampa ahead of the first meeting with his former club Juventus since he left Turin last summer.
The Chilean midfielder, 28, has been one of those key players who had been helping The Old Lady to snatch four consecutive Serie A titles, though his last season was not as good as the previous three.
Two days before the J Stadium Champions League showdown, Juventus’ fans are questioning themselves whether they should welcome back Vidal paying tribute to their former ‘king’ or if they should just boo him as whatever former player.
According to what we are reading on a number of blogs and forums populated by Juve fans, it seems that Vidal’s fear are not justified as the Bianconeri fans should welcome him on the pitch clapping for what he did during his four-year spell at the club.
On the other hand, the majority of Juve fans think Kinsley Coman does not deserve the same treatment. The Frenchman asked to leave Juventus last summer after spending only one year in Turin and used no diplomacy to remember his times as a Juventus player once he joined the Bavarians.
Claps for Arturo Vidal, boos for Kinsley Coman. But how would you welcome them to the J Stadium on Tuesday evening?
