Brocchi-Lippi talk stirs up again as Miha faces sack
Despite obtaining a point on the road to a strong opponent in Torino, it seems that Silvio Berlusconi is just as determined to get rid of the Serbian as soon as possible. Our sources indicate that it’s two wins or bust against Sassuolo and Chievo for the Serbian.
This seems rather unfair when you think that the Rossoneri have welcomed a raft of new players, and both their opponents are Top 6 defences in Serie A so far. Milan have conceded 14 goals this season, two less than Chievo and Sassuolo combined.
With stories of a potential sacking multiplying, it’s not a surprise that the footballing community is trying to come up with a list of potential successors.
Sportsmediaset, for their part, report that former Diavolo midfielder Christian Brocchi could return to the club, albeit partnered by Juventus and Italy legend Marcello Lippi.
The first is currently coaching Milan’s primavera (where have we heard that before?), whilst Lippi would act as a Technical Director, a role that has been left vacant since Leonardo was sacked five years ago. What a successful experiment that was!
