    Branca restarts with Atletico Madrid

Marco Branca is ready to return to football. The ex-technical director of Inter has been out of the game for the past two years having rescinded his contract with the nerazzurri.

    FROM MADRID TO…MADRID
He arrived at Inter in 2002 as head of the club’s scouting network and was promptly promoted to head of technical development. Under his tutelage, Inter won the Champions League against Bayern Munich but since that glorious treble-winning season, economic problems caused his reputation to plummet amongst the clubs supporters. Now he looks restart where his career actually started, at Atletico Madrid.

    STEP BACKWARDS?
As reported in Spanish newspaper AS, the club is seriously considering entrusting a leadership role to Branca. The Colchoneros have said goodbye to Juan Antonio Perez who was head of the club’s scouting network, and want to replace with the former leader of Inter who if he accepts, will continue his managerial career precisely from where he started in 2002 with the nerazzurro.
