AC Milan: Borini or Falcao. Inter: Rolando farther
As anticipated yesterday, 24-year-old striker Mario Balotelli is about to leave AC Milan to sign for Liverpool: according to Sky Sport, the Italy international will be today in England to pass the medicals and sign for The Reds; the rossoneri will replace the former Manchester City player immediately, and one of their main targets remains FC Porto 27-year-old Jackson Martinez; as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, to let the Colombia international leave, the Dragoes require 30 million euros, while the Lombard club wants to spend 20 millions; Milan are in any case also evaluating other options, and, as confirmed by both Tuttosport and the Corriere dello Sport, their dream is Monaco 27-year-old Radamel Falcao, even if, at the moment, the rossoneri don't seem to be able to afford the signing of the Colombia international; on the contrary, the new name for the Lombard club's offensive line could be the one of 23-year-old Fabio Borini, that could be loaned out by Liverpool themselves, while, as reported by La Stampa, the rossoneri are also thinking about AS Roma 22-year-old Mattia Destro, who could be perhaps part of a swap between the giallorossi and Chelsea involving another Milan's target - 30-year-old Fernando Torres. City rivals Inter Milan keep on working to reinforce their team's defense, and, as well known, their main target for such position is 28-year-old Rolando, who has moved back to FC Porto after the period on loan at the nerazzurri: before signing the Portugal international, the Lombard club needs to sell 34-year-old Hugo Armando Campagnaro, but, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the agent of the Argentine has told Inter's executives that his client wants to remain at "San Siro".
