Boateng: 'Allegri and I didn't speak the same language, but I respected him'
The former Milan and Schalke star has found the back of the net twice this season already, but took some time out to praise former Coach Max Allegri, albeit adding an interesting tidbit:
“Allegri? We didn’t speak the same language off the pitch," he told El Pais, "but with him you work to win. I respected him, he taught me a lot”.
This probably alludes to the difficult relationship the Coach is said to have had with some of the dressing room.
The Ghanaian added that former team-mate Andrea Pirlo is a very, very serene person.
“There is nobody in this world who is calmer than him”.
