Remember when Inter were sieging Lazio for Argentinian maestro Lucas Biglia?

Well, their failure to nab the 29-year-old came back to haunt them yesterday, when Biglia put on a masterclass in the middle of the park as the Nerazzurri were outplayed by Lazio, losing 2-0. 

According to our sources, moreover, it emerges that the Nerazzurri were very, very close to Biglia... only to pull out at the last minute because of his injury problems. 

In all fairness, the Argentine is not particularly young, a big problem when one considers the price that Claudio Lotito is demanding for him. Moreover, he really has missed a lot of time over the years, playing 26, 27 and 26 league games in his three seasons so far at Lazio.
