    Berlusconi expects Milan improvement

After having spent nearly € 90 million in the last transfer window, AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi would have desire from his players something more than a mere outcome of nine points in the first seven Serie A matches.

The total amount of money spent on players last summer by the Rossoneri, includes a € 30 million purchase for Alessio Romagnoli’s services. The Italian central defender was a specific request by the manager Sinisa Mihajlovic, who had him already at Sampdoria last term.

AC Milan’s first part of the season has been marked out by highs and lows, which have already caused the first media rumors concerning a manager sacking, promptly denied by the club.

The most blamed ones for the team poor form are both the manager Sinisa Mihajlovic and the club’s CEO Adriano Galliani. Despite this, Berlusconi publicly backed them, appearing to be in good spirit too.

“[Adriano] Galliani and [Sinisa] Mihajlovic both came to me to have dinner. Actually, I could have also poisoned them,” he declared to journalists facetiously.

“There will be an immediate improvement from the next match. AC Milan will restore their control on the games”, the president said becoming serious again.

AC Milan will face Torino at the Stadio Olimpico in the next Serie A feature. A game which appears not to be the easiest one for a Rossoneri comeback as the Ventura’s side are actually filling an amazing 5th place in the Serie A table.
