Bayern lose Coman for two months
There’s some bad news for Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti today after it was revealed that French striker Kingsley Coman will be out for two months after picking up an injury in training with his national team as they prepare for the latest round of World Cup qualifiers.
The 20-year-old collided with Manchester United’s Paul Pogba which resulted in an injury to his ankle and left knee which is believed to be ligament damage. The Italian tactician has come under criticism in recent weeks after some lacklustre displays from the Bavarian giants and reigning Bundesliga champions and this latest injury news will just add more pressure as Ancelotti tries to win over his critics.
Coman is likely to be available again after the re-start of the German championship in January and his coach will be anxious to have him back in his squad for the resumption of the Champions League knockout-phase in February.
