According to Spanish journal Sport, Barcelona are in pursuit of Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich. The 21-year-old has broken into the first-team at the Allianz Arena and his excellent start to the new campaign has alerted the Catalan giants who could now make a move for his services next summer.
 

Born in Rottweil, Kimmich was nurtured in the youth ranks at Stuttgart before moving to RB Leipzig in 2013. Just two years later he was on his way to Bayern for €7 million signing a five-year deal with the Bavarian giants. He scored his first goal for the champions on September 9 in a 2-0 away win at Schalke 04 then helped himself to a brace in a 5-0 Champions League win against Rostov.  

Tipped for a bright future at both club and international level, Kimmich made it into Joachim Low’s German squad for Euro 2016 and made his tournament debut against Northern Ireland.
